What's in My Bag?

In the olden days of LiveJournal and Xanga, there were groups and communities solely dedicated to "what's in my bag" posts. It's completely fine to be nosy! I personally love checking out those types of posts. I would make a video, but right now things are a bit hectic (and I'm far too lazy)!

I figured that I needed to clean my handbag out anyway, so might as well photograph what's in it. I threw out the Panera Bread, Starbucks, and Dunkin Donuts receipts though. I have an iced coffee addiction. #thestruggle

I've already shown you my new Rachel Zoe handbag in this post, and here it is again if you haven't seen it yet.

This bag is gigantic. I'm surprised how much it can hold. My only issue is that it doesn't have a zip-top. That's kind of frustrating, especially when I'm on the subway. Someone could just stick their greedy little hand in and grab my wallet. :( Actually, someone stole my camera case the other day, but I was too lazy to stick my camera in it! Haha! Enjoy the empty case, buddy.

Without further ado, here are the contents of my purse:

Lip products galore! Somehow they keep piling up in my bag.

Of course, my Marc by Marc wallet/purse. Classic Q :)

My evil eye jewelry and this month's Cosmo.

As you can see, there are a lot of items in my bag.

1. Cosmopolitan Magazine - Love it. Enough said.
2. Snakeskin-pattern Umbrella - Weather can be unpredictable. 
3. My Business Card - It's floating around the bottom of my bag. You never know ...
4. Moleskine Planner - I've had one for every year of my life since high school. I decorate it on the inside and doodle, so it's sort of like a diary more than a planner.
5. Two Hair Clips - My hair is wild.
6. Kindle Fire - I'm not crazy about it, but it's great for renting textbooks when the print versions are crazy expensive. Plus, I don't have to carry heavy books around the city.
7. Canon S100 - The new addition to my little camera family! :) It's great to have a point-and-shoot with you for times that you can't bring a DSLR and a smartphone camera just doesn't cut it.
8. Heartbreaker Body Mist by Victoria's Secret - This is my go-to summer scent. You can't tell in the picture, but there's barely any left.
9. Blue & Purple Floral Pouch - I use this as my "on the go" makeup bag. My liquid liner, tweezers (from Sally's - it's a woman in a dress ... weird), concealer, powder and assortment of lip products were in it, which I then splayed out for you all to see. Far too many lip products.
10. Pens - I like to keep a couple of pens in my bag. I'm currently using the NYU Stern & FIT free pens. 
11. Sunglasses - I bought these from Hot Topic and I'm obsessed. I have studs on everything I wear. Studs on studs on studs.
12. Pink Chiffon Anti-bacterial Gel from Bath & Body Works - This scent always reminds me of my first semester at FIT. I love pairing scents with big changes in my life. I usually carry around the body mist too, but I'm currently using Heartbreaker (as noted above).
13. Car keys - I'll be returning my beautiful car soon as I'll no longer have a need for it. It's leased, and my dad got it for me when I first got my license at the start of my senior year. It was brand new, straight from the dealership - looking back, that probably wasn't the best idea since I'm a terrible Jersey driver. Anyway, it's still sad. :(
14. Coupon - A coupon for $10 off a bra. Still haven't used it. So.
15. VIB mirror - I'm a "VIB" Sephora Beauty Insider and you can become one by spending a certain amount of money there in a calendar year. I got a gift package for "achieving" that (shame), and the mirror was among the items I was given.

I also have a piece of evil eye jewelry. It's a cultural thing, and I just like to have it with me.
