Review - NAKED 3 Palette

I have added a new addition to my Urban Decay palette family! THE NEW NAKED 3!

OH SO PRETTY.

I wrote about it briefly in this post about how much I wanted it, and last week I came home to finally find it on my doorstep!

I've been using it everyday for about a week now for a variety of occasions, and I quite like it. In the past year, I've been navigating more to taupes and rosy colors. Although I never really liked how they looked on me in the past, I've grown to like them and then I was hooked. I think that Naked Lunch by MAC really turned me onto pinks/shimmers.

The colors in this palette are so lovely, but I must mention that the fallout is substantial. It's kind of frustrating, but hey, that's what happens when you have a predominantly glittery palette. I would've liked it more if the shadows textures were a little more buttery, but otherwise it's a good addition to any makeup collection.

Try this recipe for an everyday look that I've been loving:

Pop Strange (a matte white) all over the lid, and dust Dust (ha), a shimmery pinky-gold color, on your inner corners and up to the crease. Blend Limit, a light taupe, onto the crease and blend Nooner, a slightly darker taupe, on the outer v. Finish it off with a cat eye using your beloved black liquid liner! It's quick and easy, and looks effortlessly gorgeous. If you don't want it too dramatic, you can skip the cat eye and line subtly with brown pencil liner.

Final verdict? It's a nice (but not essential) addition, but Naked 2 will always have my heart.
