My heart is sinking right now. My internship at Marc Jacobs ended on Friday, and I miss it so much already!
I'll be going back sporadically to help out in January & February, but I'm still sad. I loved working with everyone, the building, the area, THE FASHION, ... :(
People keep saying, "Oh you must be so relieved! You don't have to work like crazy anymore."
That's just how I like things. I put my soul into my work, and I'm a workaholic. I barely saw any of my friends this semester, had very little sleep, little to no downtime, but I loved it. I learned so much.
I'll be writing a separate post all about my internship, and another one about how I got it (and how my friends in the industry got theirs). I want to help you guys since I've gotten some emails about it!
Before I left, my supervisors gave me two Marc bags! I was so surprised and it was so, so, so sweet of them to do so. I really worked for a kind, generous, patient, and understanding team. I am very lucky to have them teach me.
Check out my new babies! I love Marc. Marc everything, all the time. The bags below are from the Classic Q group (my favorite, which they knew). The smaller one is Percy, and the larger one is Natasha. Both are permanent styles, but the colors change from season to season. I believe these are Spring 2014 colors - meaning they haven't come out yet!
