Blizzard Rescue | 5 Products to Save You in Snowmageddon

If you’re from the northern US, you may have noticed that we’ve been getting hit with STORM after STORM after STORM. I’ve cleaned snow off of my car more times than I can count, and I dream of canceling all plans that require stepping into the arctic (Netflix, you are my BABY).

Yeah, I get it - you have no choice but to jump into the tundra, but the dry air indoors and the sudden icy winds outdoors make for some seriously dull skin.

Luckily, I’ve found products to help you through this slushy mess, so you can keep your lovely glow alive.

  • Drybar's 100 Proof Treatment Oil $35 - I've recently dyed my hair red! That livened my look up a bit, but my hair was still kind of lackluster. I put two pumps of this serum in my hair and it instantly works to add shine, treat, and protect my hair. AND it's not greasy, so I don't have to rush to wash the product off of my hands (greasy products = HUGE pet peeve).
  • Smith's Rosebud Salve $6 - I've mentioned this product before, but I really don't think I can mention it enough. It smells amazing, feels great, and moisturizes like no other. It's light on the wallet, too! Keep chapped lips away!
  • Crane Humidifier $44.99 -  To be honest, any humidifier will do. You can have all of the moisturizing products in the world, but something can STILL be missing: moisture in your ROOM! A co-worker of mine was suffering from dry skin, itchy eyes, slightly sore throat, and I suggested this and it helped him!
  • First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Cream - Intense Therapy $28 - Introducing this MIRACLE product. So long, crocodile hands. The product seeps into your skin super quickly, and it doesn't feel greasy (see my hatred-of-grease rant above). This is the best product I've found that does the trick!
  • Lancôme Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Night Cream $115 - Okay guys, I know this one is a little pricey, but I've been using it for about a year now and I am loving it. I'm highly sensitive to fragrance, but the one in this cream is light enough to pass "the test." I will admit, it is a little heavy (not meant for day), but you'll wake up feeling baby smooth. Try to get a sample of it first to see how you like it! It worked wonders for me.

Let me know if you try any of these products out, and hopefully you'll love them as much as I do. I hope you guys found this post helpful, and above all stay warm and stay safe! xx
